How can I add my own items to the site?
| | Just use the Style Shears! This special tool allows you to post content from anywhere on the web or offline to the site in a snap. You can use the onsite version by clicking the Style Shears button on the top left hand corner of your page.
To make things even easier, we have created a version for your Bookmarks bar so with just one click you can add items, outfits, photos, articles, and videos while surfing the web.

Why don't the Style Shears or Bookmarklet work on some sites?
| | Each site has a unique way of rendering images. In an effort to make the Style Shears and Bookmarklet compatible with all sites, we are constantly working on new enhancements. If there is a site that you would like us to pay special attention to, please email us at techsupport@myfashionplate.com. In the meantime, you can add items from problematic sites by saving the image to your desktop or taking a screenshot of the image and using the upload function in the Style Shears. |

Do I have to take pics of my wardrobe to participate?
| | Nope! If you don’t feel like snapping your wardrobe, you can find pics of items you own or just plain like from other sites, or you can clip items from other members and pages on My Fashion Plate. |

Do you have any tips on photographing my wardrobe?
| | An easy solution is to model the items yourself and have a friend snap the picture against a white background. You can always crop out any portions of the image you don't want later. You can also cover a flat surface with a white or neutral colored sheet and lay your item out on top for a nice clean look. |

Can I put items I don’t own in My Wardrobe?
| | It is best to keep your Wardrobe section full of the clothing you actually own. Add things you don’t own to your Clippings, Favorite Finds, or Wish List. |

How do I add items to my Design Studio?
| | Any time you add an item to your Plate (i.e. My Wardrobe, My Clippings, Wish List, etc.), it is automatically added to your Design Studio.
In your Design Studio, you can control what is visible by clicking the Design Studio Cache button and selecting items to “hide” or “show.” You can also choose to reveal only items from your Wardrobe or all items on your Plate in the Design Studio matrix by selecting your preference in the “Select Stock” drop down on your Design Studio’s main page. |

Can I upload pics of outfits instead of using the Design Studio?
| | Yes! These are called Imported Outfits. Just use the Style Shears to add these outfits to the site. |

Why isn't my item showing up in my Design Studio?
| | Your item might be in a layer that is not yet showing in the Design Studio.
For example, you may have categorized an item as a Suit/Set, in which case the item will not show up when you first navigate to the Design Studio since the only layers that appear by default are "Top," "Bottom," and "Shoes." To reveal your item, simply add a Suit/Set layer from the "Add a Layer" drop down at the top of the Design Studio page and you will see your item.
You can also check you Design Studio Cache (linked next to the Start Over and Print Outfit buttons on the Design Studio page.) The item may be hidden. If so, simply deselect the item in the Design Studio Cache and it will appear again.
Note that when you delete an item entirely form your Plate, the item is also deleted from your Design Studio. To add it back to your Design Studio, you can either add the item to one of your My Plate pages again, or select the "Send to Design Studio" action from the item's action menu. |

Can I delete items that I have added to the site?
| | You can delete items from one of your pages or from your entire Plate at any time by selecting delete in the item’s Action Menu or by clicking the delete button located next to the item on a main page. |

If I delete an item from My Plate, is it deleted from my Design Studio?
| | If you delete an item entirely from your Plate, it is also deleted from your Design Studio. |

What are My Clippings?
| | My Clippings is a section for collecting any items, outfits, articles, and videos you have come across and would like to keep in your file. |

Can other people see the items, outfits, articles, and videos that I add to the site?
| | The items, outfits, articles, and videos you add to the site are visible to the My Fashion Plate community. Sharing fashion finds is exciting and helpful to all My Fashion Plate members. Please don't add such content unless you are ok with others viewing it and adding it to their My Plate pages. |

How does one get to be a Trendsetter?
| | We recognize standout style and active contributions to the My Fashion Plate community. You could earn a spot on the Trendsetters page if you:
-Add fabulous items and outfits to My Fashion Plate
-Offer Site Wide Outfit help and design outfits for others
-Voice your unique take on fashion
-Have standout style
We regularly choose new Trendsetters to spotlight and interview along with guest celebrities. |

What is Site Wide Outfit Help?
| | This is your opportunity to get fashion help from the entire My Fashion Plate community. Ask the members to rate your outfit or help you choose an outfit for a particular event. Just click the "Ask" button at the top of the Site Wide Outfit Help box on the Home page to get started. |

Where do I see my Site Wide Outfit Help results?
| | Your Site Wide Outfit Help request will be posted on the home page for one week. Throughout the week you can check the results in your My Updates section of you My Plate profile. The results will remain in you’re My Updates section until you delete them. |

How do I make outfits for other members?
| | Depending on the member's privacy settings, you may have access to their Design Studio. If you do have access, simply create the outfit as you would in your own Design Studio and click “Give Outfit to Member” at the bottom of the page.
You can also create an outfit in your Design Studio and give it to any member by selecting “Give Outfit to a Friend” and typing the member’s name. |

What are Pending Outfits?
| | When another member has made an outfit for you, it is sent to your “Pending Outfits” section for your approval. You will be notified of pending outfits in your My Updates section on your My Plate Profile page and via email.
To approve an outfit, click accept on your “Pending Outfits”page. Once you have accepted an outfit, it will automatically be added to your My Outfits page. |

| | Your information is private and only you control who has access to it. If you choose to work with a Stylist, your Stylist will have access to your Body & Style Analysis while performing the services requested. |

What if I can't remember the name of an item I am looking for on the site?
| | If you click the search button or the magnifying glass next to a search field on any page without typing any information into the search field, the system will show you all of the possible search results. This can be helpful if you can’t remember the name of the item you are looking for. |

Can I setup multiple accounts?
| | There is only one account per person. |

Do you suspend or terminate accounts?

- Account is Dormant for more than 2 years

- Multiple Order Cancellations or Site Misuse

- Activities in conflict with our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy
- Multiple Reports from the My Fashion Plate Community
- Failure to Pay for My Fashion Plate Services rendered

| | Posting the following items or content on My Fashion Plate is prohibited:
- Content or materials considered offensive or inappropriate
- Obscenity
- Nudity
- Images/Content depicting violence or dangerous or illegal acts
- Hate speech or malicious use of stereotypes
- Sexually explicit content
- Pictures or content whose use or publication on the My Fashion Plate Site would violate the rights of another party
- Slanderous or libelous content
- Pictures of items that do not match the item description
- Adult materials
- Hazardous and perishable items
- Illegal imports
- Items encouraging illegal activity
- Items that violate copyrights or trademarks
- Knock-off and counterfeit items
- Content or items that are mislabeled, misleading, or incorrectly categorized
- Police related items
- Products made from endangered animals
- Recalled items
- Stained, malodorous, or damaged clothing
- Stolen property and property with removed serial numbers

My Stylist  | What services do you offer?
| | When are my Personal Stylists available?
| | Personal Stylists are available for consultation 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! Individual Stylist availability will vary.
You can see which Stylists are available at any time by clicking the View all Stylists button in the My Stylist menu. Even if no Stylists are currently marked as available, you can still request a service from the "First Available Stylist" on the Consult My Stylist page.
Already know which Stylist you want to work with? Check out their availability for today at the bottom of their portfolio page. You can also contact the Stylist via personal message to see when they will be available next. Just click the "message stylist" button at the top of their portfolio page. |
| | When will My Stylist services be completed?
| | Standard Stylist response time is 24 hours, but select Expedited Service and your Personal Stylist will deliver within 2-3 hours.
You can further expedite your request by selecting to consult the first available Stylist. |
| | How will I know when my Stylist has delivered the service I requested and where will it show up?
| | You will receive an email notification and a notice on your My Updates page (which is linked to your My Plate page) once your Stylist has delivered your service. Please make sure to add do_not_reply@myfashionplate.com to your address book so your notifications do not get caught in your spam filter.
Your service will be delivered to the corresponding area of the My Stylist section (i.e. My Wardrobe Assessments, My Look Book, etc.) You can find the My Stylist button along the top navigational bar on the site. |
| | Can I choose the Personal Stylist I would like to consult?
| | Yes you can! Just select the Stylist you would like to consult at the time of your request. |
| | I chose a Stylist from the available list, but when I went to checkout, it said that the Stylist was no longer available. What happened?
| | Between the time you added the request to your Shopping Bag and the time you clicked "Proceed to Checkout," the selected Stylist's availability period ended. To avoid this issue in the future, try not to let your requests sit for too long in your Shopping Bag before checking out. |
| | Why did a different Stylist than the one I selected perform my request?
| | Stylist availability is real-time. To ensure your request is received by your preferred Stylist, payment must be completed within 5 minutes of proceeding to checkout. Otherwise, your request may be forwarded to the next available Stylist. |
| | How many items do I need in my wardrobe for a Wardrobe Assessment or to create a Look Book?
| | For Wardrobe Assessments and Looks, you'll benefit from having at least 10-15 items in your virtual wardrobe. |
| | Does My Stylist actually purchase anything for me when I consult them for a Personal Shopper service?
| | You Stylist will only provide you with a range of suggestions. He or she will never actually purchase anything for you. |
| | What if I add items to My Wardrobe for my Stylist to use after I have requested a service?
| | Only the items you have in your Wardrobe at the time of your Stylist request will be visible to your Stylist. |
| | Are there a maximum number of services I can request at one time?
| | You may request up to 5 of each type of service in a 24 hour period. |
| | Can I ask a question in the Fashion Q&A?
| | If you've consulted with a Personal Stylist, you're a VIP in our book! Enjoy free access to the Fashion Q&A. You can ask the Personal Stylists any fashion questions that have you puzzled. Just click the “Ask” button at the top of the Fashion Q&A section of My Stylist and type your question. |
| | Why is the Body & Style Analysis necessary for My Stylist services?
| | The more your Personal Stylist knows about you, the better he or she will be able to deliver the results you deserve. |
| | Can I get a refund on My Stylist Services?
| | My Stylist services are non-refundable.
Please refer to the Stylists' portfolio page for their individual Customer Care Policy. If you are dissatisfied with a Stylist's services, first contact them via personal message. The Stylist may choose to send you additional suggestions to meet your satisfaction.

| | Can I block a Stylist in my Privacy Settings?
| | Stylists cannot be blocked as they will need access to your pages upon request of their services. If you feel your information has been compromised by a Stylist, please contact Customer Support immediately with your concern. |

Feedback FAQ  | Who can I leave feedback for?
| | You can leave feedback for a Stylist who you have worked with or a Member who has created an outfit for you. |
| | How do I leave feedback?
| | You can leave feedback once per service purchased or outfit created. Just navigate to the My Feedback section of your Account and click Give Feedback at the top of the page. You will find all of the items that you have bought or received for which you have not yet left feedback. |
| | When should I leave feedback?
| | Wait until your transaction is complete to leave feedback for a Stylist. You can leave feedback for a Member who has created an outfit for you at any time. If there is a dispute, wait to leave feedback until it is resolved. The feedback you leave is public, so always be accurate and fair. Remember, the feedback you leave can also affect your reputation on the site. |
| | How is my feedback rating calculated?
| | Your feedback rating is the average of your ratings received from Members for whom you have created outfits and, if you are a Stylist, the ratings you have received from your clients. After completing a transaction with you, the other party can rate your performance on a scale of 1 to 5 and leave detailed feedback for you, which will be visible in your Feedback Profile. |
| | Why is it important to leave feedback?
| | By leaving feedback, you can give people credit for a job well done! Let people know when you appreciate their work, and help other Members choose who to work with. |
| | What if I receive or see feedback that is inappropriate or violates My Fashion Plate’s Terms & Conditions?

| | Once feedback is submitted, it cannot be modified. So, please be thoughtful and fair when leaving feedback. |
